This is by no means done and there is actually two versions of this painting. I have no idea when I'm gonna get a chance to finish this even though I want to very badly.
I'm also not sure which direction I want to go with him either. I started out wanting to paint Erik how I always do with his lips pulled up and his teeth showing, but this took a turn for something else. I decided to let it. I actually like how it's turning out and don't know if I should continue on. Tell me what you think. I might when I get some time continue on the other version and then upload that and leave this one alone. I dedicate this to one of my best friends. This has some rights restricted due to the inspiration behind it, obviously Erik belongs to Leroux. Comments
 i think its very well done... :3 lighting is well shown and the color is amazing... and the eyes well the title says it all

I tried to inject some colors into it which is hard considering Erik has yellow skin. hehe. I think eyes are my favorite part they are so interesting.

He seems younger, not so monstrous. His eyes capture much behind the character that many versions leave only to be guessed at.
-- -The Phantom of the Salle -- "When the voices of doubt plague you, write down what the voices are saying." -AMMI  I would lighten the skin tone significantly to a pale yellow, parchment-coloured, if you will, make his eyes deeper set and darker, and deform the lips a bit more. Perhaps thin them out and twist them a bit. That's just my opinion. But so far, I like ^_^.

GO BACK TO ERIK!   A very accurate name for it. The shading of it is blurred slightly, yet the eys are so sharp and distinct.
Wow, the movie really made him look alot less ugly than he was supposed to be. Weak. Yes I was trying to keep a lot of it loose and defining certain areas of his face such as his eyes.
